As mothers, it is important to eat healthy fruits and vegetables in order to keep your kids healthy. But, some studies show that they should never overeat. And this is because it can affect the health of the child in the future.  

However, according to the research presented at Endocrine Society’s annual meeting last March 18, “Mothers who overeat during the period when they are breastfeeding may have children who are at increased risk of becoming obese and going through early puberty, a new study of mice suggests.”

In addition to this, Dr. Mengjie Wang stated that “these results show that the breastfeeding phase is a critical window that influences when puberty happens”. Apart from the food that you need to avoid, it is better than you know when are you going to stop eating. Here are the reasons why you need to regulate your food intake.

Lowers risk of having obese offsprings

According to Dr. Wang, “Our results reinforce the findings of previous studies that childhood obesity causes advanced puberty and metabolic disorders in adulthood”. However, as these offsprings get older, it will be difficult for them to cut off the food that they’re used to. This is because they don’t have other ways to get enough food.

Ensure that your kid receives the nutrients that she needs for six months. It is important that you are aware of what you are eating since you are also passing the nutrients to her. Protect your kid at all cost since your milk is their only source of food.

Checking the label is important if you are a mother who opts to breastfeed. This is similar if you want to make sure that your baby drinks a healthy powdered milk. You need to avoid all your cravings. Most of the times, people get confused between being only thirsty and hungry. You get to make good choices if you will not start the ‘never overeat’ plan.
