Chronic stress can bring tons of adverse effects in your life. It can also affect how you work in the office. Also, if you are a student, not having breaks can bring changes in your moods. The small stress that your tasks gave to you can cause a problem to your health. Here are the results of the hassles you encounter daily.

It increases blood pressure.

According to Professor Carolyn Aldwin, “chronic daily hassles can lead to increased blood pressure, which puts you at risk of heart disease.” Aldwin is the director of the Centre for Healthy Ageing Research at Oregon State University.


Having a mental strain is an endless cycle. From the traffic jams to the inboxes that you left unopened. From the unpaid bills that you need to settle before your electricity get cuts off. Whether you want to avoid it, you can never stay away from it. All you need to do is to know how will you be able to limit the amount of stress that you feel.

It makes stress a daily battle.

Being able to have small stress can be beneficial to you. Simply because it can help you to stay active and alert all throughout. However, if you are experiencing these things over again, maybe it’s time for you to stop. If it’s already too toxic, you need to get out. Take a deep breathe and meditate. You do not need to let it eat you. Because if you do, you will end up exhausted.


Start creating a positive mindset. If you think that your environment starts to affect your mood, listen to your favorite music. Maybe it is time for you to shut the unnecessary noises around you up. When you are an optimist, you may know how to focus on your work.

Don’t let the traffic jams kill your mood. There are a lot of ways you can do when there is a presence of traffic.


When you are the kind of person who experiences small stress, maybe you need to have a healing trip. However, if you could not afford it, you may be able to just meditate at home. If your stress hormones started to increase, think of ways you can lower it down. You have a lot of choices. You can go on with your everyday life or to being affected by the small stress.
